Important message for Dutch Open 2020 racers!
Hereby we inform you that the Windsurfer Dutch Open 2020, planned on 4-6 September 2020, has been cancelled and postponed till Q2 2021.
Main reason for this is the rising of Covid-19 infections in the Netherlands, expected measures on sport- and social events in the coming weeks and the risk that we have to cancel the event on short notice with all the financial risks that we have by organizing this race.
Of course this was not an easy decision, but was unanimously taken by all key people, involved by the organization of this event. If you already have paid the registration fee, we will transfer the fee to your bank account in the coming weeks. If you have paid by credit card, please mail your bank details.
But: We know that many of you already planned a week or a few days holiday at Brouwersdam and booked accommodations. So, why not enjoy the amazing and great windsurfing spot at Brouwersdam from 4-6 september still! You will definitely meet other Windsurfer LT racers, to windsurf together, to train some tricks, to do a long distance together in a small group, maybe eat together, and so on. For we all want to windsurf and have fun together on the Windsurfer LT board.
It really is a pity that we can’t compete this year. We hope to meet you all next year and maybe at other windsurfing events this year.
